WALK TO END LUPUS NOW
Supporting the Betterment of Life
This initiative spread awareness while aiding in resources for research to support over 1.5 million Americans living with Lupus. Access to medical resources helps to empower their own abilities and gain the confidence to fulfill a complete lifestyle. Working with the Lupus Foundation of American gives families with Lupus and our community to rally together to find a cure for lupus.
GIFT OF LOVE TOY DRIVE
Helping The Community
The A. J. Harris Empowerment Academy, is dedicated to addressing the needs of our community. Our Gift of Love Drive was designed to let families in our Kannapolis based orphanage know that someone cares for them and bring a smile to a child's face. We were able to donate hundreds of items to The Church of God Children's Home of North Carolina.
UNITY IN THE COMMUNITY
BACK TO SCHOOL EVENT
Committed to Giving Back
The A. J. Harris Empowerment Academy works with businesses in our community to present Unity in the Community. This FREE outreach event is designed to gather families, small businesses and organizations in our area together, building a sense of pride to all our residents. We provide backpacks full of school supplies, games and prizes as well as entertainment for all, while getting our youth ready for another successful school year. Partnerships make this event greater each year. EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOPS
Our Children Are The Future
Our Pre-teen Girls and Boys Empowerment Workshops are designed to inspire, encourage and educate our youth on their importance in the world and society. The guidance, development, and support of our children is very serious issue to our team. We are always working to make a positive impact in their lives that will spread positivity and growth.
